Let’s talk choosing your wedding song!

Along with choosing your wedding colors, deciding details of your timeline, and what your wedding party will wear, you and your fiancé get to spend time deciding what songs will be played for the traditional elements of your event. One of those most important elements is your first dance!

One of our favorite ways to accomplish this decision making is by designating a night of the week as your wedding planning date night. Search for top first dance songs on google, youtube, or Spotify and enjoy listening to all the options over a nice glass of wine and delicious meal. If one speaks to you or your fiancé, highlight that one in a note on your phone or your own Spotify playlist. Over the next week or two, spend time listening to the songs and from there see if you can narrow down THE song by the way it speaks to your soul. I know, it sounds kinda silly, but I’m being serious here. Music is the language of the soul.
